Overview
QueryPie WAC (Web Access Controller) is a web application protection solution designed to provide access control and logging for web applications.
WAC currently offers the following key features:
Access Control: Allows access to web applications only for authorized users.
Audit Logs: Records the actions performed by authorized users when accessing and working within the web application.
In addition, upcoming feature updates will provide the following enhancements:
Permission Control: Controls critical actions within the web application, even for authorized users.
Sensitive Data Control: Limits the display of sensitive information, even when access is authorized and permitted.
Web Apps Sub-Features
To access the WAC management menu, go to the QueryPie Admin page and click Web Apps in the top navigation bar.
Below is a brief description of each sub-menu:
Connection Management
Web Apps: Register and manage web applications that are subject to access control.
Web App Access Control
Access Control: Assign or revoke roles for QueryPie groups and users.
Roles: Manage Web App roles. You can create, edit, and delete roles; view assigned users and allowed web apps for each role; and assign or revoke policies.
Policies: Manage Web App policies. You can create detailed access allow/block policies for each web application, view the roles assigned to each policy, and review policy change history.
