Overview
The overall results of the Data Discovery process can be viewed visually through widgets. For data to be displayed in each widget, at least one successful Discovery job must be performed.
Widget
Job Status: Displays daily statistics on the overall status of Discovery Jobs. The values are reset to 0 at midnight (00:00) and recalculated thereafter.
Total Number of Jobs: The total number of Discovery Jobs that exist between 00:00 and 23:59:59.
Total Executed: The total number of Discovery Jobs executed between 00:00 and 23:59:59.
Completed: The total number of Discovery Jobs that successfully completed between 00:00 and 23:59:59.
Aborted: The total number of Discovery Jobs forcefully stopped by the user between 00:00 and 23:59:59.
Failed: The total number of Discovery Jobs that failed between 00:00 and 23:59:59.
Connections by RDBMS: A pie chart showing the distribution of connection types used by Data Discovery during scanning.
(Data Discovery currently supports the following databases: MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and Azure SQL.)Limitation: If the percentage of a specific item is less than 10%, the label and line for that item will not be displayed on the graph.
Inventory Overview: Once a Job is successfully executed at least once, it stores information about the database structure and shows a summary of each structure. Databases that have schemas will have their schemas counted.
Sensitive Items by Type: A bar chart displaying the distribution of sensitive information by type.
Sensitive Items by Compliance: A bar chart displaying the distribution of sensitive information by compliance type.
