Web Apps
Overview
QueryPie WAC (Web App Access Control) is a web application protection solution designed for access control and logging of web applications.
The features currently provided by WAC in version 10.2.2 are as follows:
Access Control: Allows access to the web application only for authorized users.
Audit Logging: Even for authorized users, records the history of actions taken within the web application.
Additionally, future updates will introduce the following features:
Permission Control: Even for authorized users, controls actions on critical tasks within the web application.
Sensitive Information Control: Restricts the display of sensitive information, even for authorized users, depending on the permitted actions.
Web Apps Subfeatures
To access the WAC management menu, click on Web Apps in the top menu of the QueryPie Admin page.
A brief description of each submenu is as follows:
Connection Management
Web Apps: Register and manage the web apps to be controlled.
Web App Access Control
Access Control: Assign or revoke roles for QueryPie groups and users.
Roles: Manage Web App roles. You can create, modify, and delete roles, view users and allowed web apps for each role, and assign/revoke policies.
Policies: Manage Web App policies. You can create detailed policies such as allowing or denying access to web apps, view the roles assigned to the policy, and check the modification history of the policy.
