DB Access Policies
Overview
The QueryPie DB Access Policy (Policy) feature empowers administrators to effectively manage and enforce access policies per data source, safeguarding personal and sensitive information within the organization. Through this feature, limits on tables/columns, data masking, and sensitive data policies can be meticulously applied to each connection, which represents QueryPie's unit of data source. This ensures that users or groups are granted access only to the essential information required for their specific business needs.

Recommendations
When registering rules after creating a data policy, the access restriction policy is automatically applied to all users by default.
The "Allowed Users" feature provides the flexibility to grant access only to specific users or groups as needed.
To effectively manage exceptions for users permitted access to your data, consider creating a group of exception users and assigning them to the "Allowed Users" list. This allows for streamlined exception handling within your data access policy.
